When the PTO is engaged while the vehicle is driven, always bear in mind that, depending on the gearing ratio of the PTO

itself (see Table 4.4), the pumps of connected accessories may reach high rotational speeds (e.g.: an engine speed of 1800

rpm corresponds to a pump speed of 2400 rpm).

PTO MANAGEMENT

Interventions that are carried out which do not comply with the following indications, may cause

serious damage to the on-board systems (not covered by the contractual warranty) and could

compromise the safety, reliability and correct functioning of the vehicle.

The ECUs illustrated in figure 4.4 are situated on the right hand side of the dashboard (lower part), in front of the passenger seat.
