Slide the cartridge seal on the gland studs and make sure that the tap connections are in the cor-
rect orientation.

Hand-tighten the gland nuts.

Install the impeller and set the clearance.

Set the seal:

a) Tighten the set screws in the drive collar while the setting clips are engaged.

b) Tighten the gland nuts (355) evenly.

Disengage the setting clips.
