Maintenance of competence of the electrical maintenance technician

Luminous and acoustic signal

Check the efficiency of the luminous and

acoustic signal (Fig. 34), immediately re-

place the bulb in the case of malfunction.

Ground discharge

The metal chain shown in Figure 35

allows discharging any electrostatic dis-

charges to the ground.

Periodically check that the chain always

touches the ground for it to be efficient.

Otherwise, replace it with a longer one.

40A Fuse efficiency check

If the display does not switch-on when the machine is turned on, a failure of the 40 A fuse

is probable.

Disassemble the control panel (Fig. 36) and replace the fuse (Fig. 37).
