Robot ignition
Turn the key (Fig. 14) clockwise, press the
ON button on the control panel, the luminous
signal turns on (Fig. 15) and when the display
shows the program number in use, the
machine is ready for operation.
Initially the display shows the number of
software used on the robot.
This number remains on display for the time
necessary for the software to check the film
roll holder carriage position, which must be
in low position and, if out of position, bring it
back to initial conditions.
If this does not happen, the machine switches
off after about 15 seconds.
Check activation of the low posi-
tion sensor of the film roll holder
carriage.

Battery charging
The machine is delivered with the batteries
already charged. To check the state of
charge, turn on the machine and wait for
the display to shows under the number of
program in use: BATTERIA (BAT TERY) with
the voltage value at the side.
To charge the batteries, insert the supplied
ca ble in the appropriate socket (Fig. 13) on
one side, and to a 110-240 V - 6 Amp current
socket.
The battery charger is inside the machine.
The batteries are of “GEL” type, maintenance-
free and sealed. They DO NOT emit vapors.
With batteries fully discharged (the display
shows 18V), charging takes about 8 hours.
CAUTION
Switch off the machine with the key
and remove it before charging the
batteries.
The batteries must be charged at least 30
minutes after robot inactivity.
Otherwise, they may overheat with
consequent
deformation of the container and durability
of the batteries.
After charging, wait at least 30 minutes before
using the robot.
