Function of the EMERGENCY button
The emergency stop is performed by pres
-
sing the mushroom-shaped button on the
steering (Fig. 5).
The button acts on a safety circuit causing
the deactivation of all machine movements.
Procedures for periodic checks
To check if the emergency circuit works cor
-
rectly every day follow this procedure :

. Commissioning the machine

. Press the Emergency stop
3
. Release the Emergency button
4
. Reset and restart the machine using the relative controls
In the case of failure on the emergency circuit, it will no longer be possible to per
-
form the subsequent commissioning.
The electrical maintenance technician must verify the type of failure on the compo
-
nents.
NOTE
To reset the emergency stop function, turn the mushroom-shaped button in the direction of its
arrow and reset the safety conditions by pressing ESC button on the control panel to resume
the production cycle.

CAUTION
If, for any reason, the emergency button does not block the robot movement,
it can be stopped by pressing the ON/OFF button on the control panel and/or
by switching off the machine using the key switch.
CAUTION
The efficiency of the EMERGENCY button must be checked at the start of
each work shift!
CAUTION
The “LEO” robot is also provided with a shock-sensitive front part for safety of work
and controls that stop the machine if, after the recordable time, the machine does not
steer.
After having pressed the front sensitive part, the robot continues its run for about 200
mm.
