HYSICAL DESCRIPTION
CBA1000 components are accessed by removing all screws on the bottom, and also the four screws on
the feet, and lifting the central part by the handles. There is a main board mounted on the front panel,
and a number of components mounted on the back panel. The arrangement, seen from the front, is
shown in the figure below.
The optional micro-Ohmmeter auxiliary board (65) is located after the microprocessor board.
The microprocessor board (61) and the optional micro-Ohmmeter auxiliary board (65) are connected to
the front panel board (60) and screwed to it. Other cards are kept in place by means of L-shaped
supports, and are screwed unto them.
If a board is failing, it is necessary to remove the screws: then it can be lowered and removed.

RROR MESSAGES
The test set performs a number of tests at power-on and during the generation. The following table lists
all the messages, and the corrective action.
