2.4.3 Auxiliary CB contacts.
Next operation is to connect logic CBA1000 inputs to the auxiliary CB contacts, if desired.
There are four inputs in all, divided in two ISOLATED groups of two inputs each. This serves for the
case that a contact is with voltage, while the other one is not.
With optional connection cables, these inputs are connected to the CB by means of two 3-way cables,
with bananas having different colors.
2.4.4 Travel transducer or analog input.
The travel transducer is a potentiometer; the cursor position corresponds to the pole position during the
movement. There are two sockets with a pro 5 V output that serves to polarize the transducer;
the cursor is connected to the input. Else, it is possible to connect the input to any voltage that is desired
to monitor during the test.
2.4.5 Micro-Ohmmeter.
The test of the contact resistance is performed connecting the test object (CB contact, joint,...) to the
high current sockets, and the voltage drop to the voltage meter input.

ON
CBA1000 can be operated in connection to a supply, or with the internal battery.
If you press the ON switch, the internal battery supplies CBA1000. The CHARGE BATTERY LED
will turn on when the battery needs to be charged: this will occur shortly after the battery has been used.
When the residual operation is about 30 minutes, the BATTERY LOW alarm will be displayed.
