The following table describes the labels for the SMTP Setting screen.
Label Description
E-mail Alert Enables or disables transmission of system warnings by e-mail.
SMTP Server Address
The SMTP server IP address (or domain name address). The default
is 0.0.0.0
Sender E-mail Address The sender's E-mail address
Mail Subject Subject of the mail
Authentication
Username : the authentication username
Password : the authentication password
Confirm Password : re-enter password
Recipient E-mail
Address
The recipient’s e -mail address, allows a total number of six recipients.
Save Click Save to save the settings.
Event Selection
There is one warning way supported by system — SYSLOG. Checking the corresponding box will
enable specific system event warning to SYSLOG. Note that the checkbox cannot be checked when
SYSLOG is disabled.
