To remove and replace the scan engine
1. Open the 1555 and disconnect the upper case assembly as described on page 2-12.
2. Disconnect the 8-pin flex cable from the connector on the rear of the scan engine.

3. Tilt the RF board assembly up and remove the two Torx screws on the underside of
the assembly. The RF board assembly is still connected to the rest of the 1555 by a
flex cable.
