ARGUS Copper Test Manual

3.1.12 Signature detection/termination detection

Signature detection makes it possible to detect e.g. a passive test termination (PPA). 

Circuit diagrams:

After selecting the "Menu" softkey, the following settings can be made:
- Remote Kit Command
- Remote Kit

A  voltage  check  is  performed  before  the  measurement  in  which  the 
voltage limits given in the table (see page 7) may not be exceeded.
