Starting capacitance measurement
In this example, capacitance measurement is carried out with a measuring frequency of 8
Hz and the values stored for wire type 2.
It is important to select a cable type, the default is „No cable type“.
In this example (see picture on the right), a capacitance of approx. 47.66 nF is measured
between Tip/Ring. On the basis of the values stored under wire type PE 0.5 AWG24, this
corresponds to a 1000 m line.
For a two-pole measurement the measured value is displayed in real time.
The wire type can be selected and configured during or after the
measurement.
