Terminal Installation

Terminal Placement

The recommended height for the terminal's
platen is between 40 and 48 inches (102 -
122 cm) from the finished floor. This height
conforms to the Americans with Disabilities
Act (ADA) standards (40 inches is
recommended for ADA standards). All
terminals within a site should be placed at
the same height.

The terminal should be out of the path of
pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

Make sure that the terminal is not exposed
to excessive airborne dust, direct sunlight,
water or chemicals.
