Preparation
Prepare the installation area:
1.
Using the
brick box
as a template, make a hole in the wall where the
intercom
will be located.
2.
Place the
brick box
in the cavity where the
intercom
will be located and mark the 4 screw holes.
3.
Drill 4 screw anchor holes as marked. A drill hole depth of 50mm is recommended.
4.
Insert the screw anchors into the holes.
Brick Box Mounting
Secure the brick box into the wall cavity:
1.
Pull the cable through the cable hole in the
brick box
, leaving 15-20cm excess cable length.
2.
Using the 4 TA5 40mm screws, mount the
brick box
inside the wall cavity.
Note
: the brick box should be as close to flush with the wall as possible

Up to 6mm inside the wall cavity is acceptable, but it must not extend beyond the wall surface

Angle slope should be within 2°
3.
Fill the gaps between the brick box and the wall with cement.
Note
: this step can be skipped. However it will decrease the anti-punch strength
Do not proceed until the cement has set.
