The unlock command is:
CAL:LOCK OFF
'unlocks the setup parameters
While lock is enabled, the end-user can change and save any non-locked
parameter.
3.8.16 Saving the Configuration
The 488.2 *SAV 0 command saves the current configuration in Flash
Memory. This includes digital data, data polarity, relay driver states and the
current analog output signal levels. The saved configuration is recalled and
the outputs are restored to their saved state at power turn-on time or by the
*RCL 0 command. WARNING - Because the Flash Memory has a finite
number of write cycles, the *SAV command should not be used inside
a program loop. Use the SENSe and SOURce subsystem or similar
commands to configure the analog, digital and relay driver lines to their
desired states before saving the configuration. e.g.
*SAV 0
'saves current values and configuration
*RCL 0
'recalls the saved configuration
3.8.17 Restoring Factory Default Settings
The flash memory can save the user configuration. After several saves, the
user may not be certain of what is saved or what a earlier user may have
saved in the unit's flash memory. Use the CAL:DEFault command to
restore the unit to the factory default settings. e.g.
CAL:DEFault
'restores factory settings
*SAV 0
'saves factory configuration as new power
on configuration
The CAL:DEFault command resets the CAL:DATe value to 00/00/0000.
This indicates that the unit is uncalibrated and will cause the ERR LED to
stay on after selftest. To restore the CAL:DATe setting, do the following:
*CLS
'clears the ERR LED
CAL:DATe mm/dd/yyyy
'enter today's date
