Fault display (Operating level reached, alarm, trip,
restart inhibited)
Operating level reached :
Operating level reached for a previously programmed function is displayed by the
Start Function
orange
indicator LED
(except thermal function [49]). This indicator LED is useful when the relay is
subjected to tests, since it makes it possible to check that the operating level is not reached without
waiting for the end of the associated time-delay.
Alarm :
When there is an alarm, see functions protection table - chapter 1.1.1., the
Alarm
orange indicator
LED illuminates, and the alarm-related information appear on the relay display : - function
concerned – value, if any, monitored on alarm occurrence.
The event is stored, not the indicator LED
. Pressing the
CLEAR
key clears the message, and
returns the relay to the previous display.
Note
: - a new alarm or fault clears and replaces the previous message.
-
if the same alarm is repeated without acknowledgement by the CLEAR key, the alarm
display is not refreshed.
Trip :
When there is a trip, see functions protection table - chapter 1.1.1., the
Internal Trip
or
External
Trip
red indicator LED illuminates, and the trip-related information appear on the relay display :
- function concerned – value, if any, monitored on fault occurrence.
The display is stored, together with illumination of the indicator LED.
Pressing the
CLEAR
key clears the message, and returns the relay to the previous display. Doing this causes turning off
of the Trip indicator LED.
Note :
- a new alarm or fault clears and replaces the previous message.
-
the value, if any, of the time-delay related to this fault can be consulted in the stack of
the last 5 faults.
-
if the same fault is repeated without acknowledgement by the CLEAR key, the fault
display is not refreshed.
Restart inhibited :
When there is a start inhibition, see protection table - chapter 1.1.1., the
Inhib. Start Mot.
orange
indicator LED illuminates, and the display automatically sets to the measurement to which start
inhibit applies :
-
inhibition by thermal state : display of the thermal state
θ
to evaluate the restart time.
-
inhibition by number of starts : display of
Tinh
start inhibit time.
-
inhibition by the voltage : display of composed voltage
U31
.
Note :
the
Inhib. Start Mot
.
orange
indicator LED is not latches. It will be off when there are no
more start inhibit signals, or when the user gives emergency restart control order
ERST
.
