5.14. UNDER VOLTAGE FOR RE-ACCELERATION [27RC]
Functions
The motors can be re-accelerated following a disturbance having affected the network voltage. During
their re-acceleration, they can absorb a current in the order of the starting current during a time close to
the starting time. The rotor stalling detection function [51STALL] must be inhibited, and the too long
start detection function [48] initialised. The re-acceleration condition can be created by a relay voltage
unit or a contact given by an external voltage relay (EL3 input).
Main characteristics
Operating level Urc< :
20 – 120 % Un in steps of 1 %
Time-delay t(Urc<) :
0.1-100 seconds in steps of 0.1 second
Note : The Urc< unit is active only, motor operating, during and after the start period.
When the voltage detection function is provided by an external relay (digital input EL3
used), the internal protection [27rc] must be deactivated.
When the function [27rc] is validated, the input EL3 must be not used (no connected or
always equal to zero Volt).
