Sequence of operations to be performed
Results to be obtained
The start authorisation unit is in the idle condition if start is authorised. Therefore,
the normally closed contact of unit P (or other) must be used. In the event of start
inhibition, the chosen unit is used, and the contact is open.
Simulate motor start with the instantaneous application of a current Ipos > 1.5
In or current Ist during tst
Or simulate start by ap 24V to the EL1 input (wire between
terminals A3 and B18).
Number of starts limitation unit check
Check of maximum start number N and time T
Put into service the unit, and route it to authorisation unit P or another unit as
selected.
Note the value of
N.
Connect the current generator according to the desired connection, deduce
M
Preset the current to at least 1.5 (In x
M).
Inject the current for a few seconds, then cut it off.
Restart current injection
N
times.
The number of remaining starts and the remaining inhibition time can be
checked at any time.
To reset the start counter and associated
t
and
T
time-delays, use the
ERST
key or
EL5
input.
At the end of N injections :
The selected relay must be energised (start
inhibited),
The Inhib. Start Mot. indicator LED must
illuminate,
The selected relay must remain energised during T,
The display must set to Tinh.
The user is warned that start is inhibited by the indicator
LED and the display which sets to the value related to
this inhibition.
The indication in the "Start inhibit status" chapter shows
that the inhibition is given by this function. (1 = inhibit, 0
= authorisation).
