changes in the ProtecTIER dedup ratio the current file system maximum size
may decline. If this is the case, you will be required to change the maximum
file system size.
Note: An informational message displays the maximum file system size that
can be defined.
5. (Optional) Select a new setting (Enabled, Disabled, or Baseline) from the
dropdown list in the HyperFactor: field.
Note: If hyperfactor is disabled, the latest data is not used for deduplication
when hyperfactor is re-enabled.

(Optional) Select a new setting (Enabled or Disabled) from the dropdown list in
the Compression: field.
7. (Optional) Select the check box to enable sending an SNMP alert when the file
system usage reaches a threshold.
a.
Select the threshold unit type (GB or Percent).
b. Enter the corresponding values for the upper and lower file system usage
threshold limits in the input fields.
8. When you finish setting the file system usage threshold limits, click Ok to close
the window. The new parameters are displayed in the File system view pane.
Deleting a file system
This topic describes how to delete file systems.
About this task
You can delete a file system and all of its data.
Note: Before a file system can be deleted, the user must delete all of the exports
and shares. In order to delete a share, the share must not be in use or mapped on a
host at the time of deletion.
Procedure
1. From the Systems Management view, select an existing file system under the
File System
category in the navigation pane.
2. Select Delete from the File system menu. A confirm data loss window is
displayed.

Type
data loss
in the Confirm data loss window and click Ok. The file system
is deleted from the system.
