Enabled
Policy can be enabled or disabled for running, or partially enabled with
some of the destinations disabled. A policy can also be enabled or disabled
per destination.
Click a policy to see the policy's details, such as: source directories and destination
repository paths.
Monitoring a file system
This section describes how to use ProtecTIER Manager to monitor a file system in
FSI.
From the Systems Management view, select a file system under the File System
category in the navigation pane. The file system monitoring window displays the
File system properties
, and tabs that show the CIFS share configuration, the NFS
export configuration, and the Folders navigation.
Monitoring file system properties
The File system properties pane displays the following file system configuration
properties:

Properties Description
Configured max. size The maximum file system size defined
during file system creation.
Hyperfactor The data factoring mode status.
Compression Data compression is either enabled (on) or
disabled (off).
Current max. size The current maximum file system size.
Usage The actual amount of space (in MiB, GiB, or
TiB) used from the file system percentage.
To change the file system configuration properties, click Modify properties and
follow the steps in “Modifying properties of a file system” on page 75.
Monitoring a CIFS share configuration
This section describes how to use ProtecTIER Manager to monitor a CIFS share
configuration.
Click on the CIFS tab to display the CIFS Shares details:

Column Description
Enabled Displays if CIFS share is either activated or
deactivated.
Name Displays the CIFS share name.
Path Displays the directory path of the CIFS
share.
