The
following

board.
You
might
have
to
refer
to
this
illustration
when
solving
problems
with
the
server.

Standby power (LED1)
DIMM 1 error (LED17)
DIMM 2 error (LED16)
DIMM 3 error (LED15)

VRD good (LED11)
Each
error
LED
is
lit
to
indicate
a
problem
with
a
specific
component.
After
a
problem
is
corrected,
its
LED
will
not
be
lit
the
next
time
the
server
is
restarted;
if
the
problem
remains,
the
LED
will
be
lit
again.

Recovering
from
a
BIOS
update
failure
If
power
to
the
server
is
interrupted
while
BIOS
code
is
being
updated
(flash
update),
the
server
might
not
restart
(reboot)
correctly.
If
this
happens,
complete
the
following
steps
to
recover:
1.
Review
the
safety
information
that
begins
on
page
and
2.
Turn
off
the
computer
and
all
attached
devices.
3.
Disconnect
the
power
cord.
4.
Remove
the
side
cover
(see
5.
Locate
the
boot
block
recovery
jumper
(JP6)
on
the
system
board,
removing
any
adapters
that
impede
access
to
the
jumper.
