Table 3. System-board LEDs
LED Description
System locator LED Use this blue LED to visually locate the server. You can use
IBM Director to light this LED remotely. This LED flashes
during system POST and when the Configuration/Setup Utility
program is in use.
Error LEDs If an amber error LED on the system board is lit, the
associated component has failed. If the
Microprocessor 1
VRD error LED or the Microprocessor 2 VRD error LED is
lit, the system board has failed.
Light path power LED With the server power cord connected, this green LED
remains lit. With the server power cord disconnected and the
light path button pressed, this LED lights to indicate that the
light path function is working.
BMC heartbeat LED This LED flashes to indicate that the BMC (baseboard
management controller) is functioning normally.
