Switch ignition and lighting off.

Open the bonnet (see chapter 4).

Turn the housing cover (Fig. 218,1) in an anticlockwise direction and
remove.

Turn the holder (Fig. 219,1) with the lamp in an anticlockwise direction
and take it out of the lamp housing.

Pull the bulb out of the holder.

Insert the new bulb (H7 - 12 V/55 W) into the holder such that the socket
plate fits into the recess of the holder.

Insert the holder (Fig. 219,1) with bulb into the lamp housing and tighten
in a clockwise direction. The holder engages audibly.

Place the housing cover (Fig. 218,1) and tighten in a clockwise direction.

Close the bonnet.

Reach behind the combined headlight for curve light/fog light (Fig. 220),
turn holder (Fig. 221,1) with the bulb in an anticlockwise direction and
take it out of the headlight housing.

Pull the bulb out of the holder.

Insert the new bulb (H7, 12 V/55 W) into the holder such that the socket
plate fits into the recess of the holder. While doing this, do not touch the
bulb with bare fingers.

Insert the holder (Fig. 221,1) with the bulb from behind into the headlight
housing and turn in a clockwise direction. The holder engages audibly.
