Check the inside of the top part of steam cylinder for 
crust build-up and possible salt bridges (black grooves 
between the electrode leads). If present, wash away 
completely.

If electrical arcs have burned deep grooves into the material, the
top part of the cylinder (better: the complete cylinder, s. above)
must be replaced.

Clean the sensor electrode until it is bright. 

Unplug electrodes /

sensor electrode

   Remove flange clamps

Remove used O-ring

Clean strainer

Clean cylinder inside. Do not 
use acids or other chemicals.
