Remove protection caps

Remove the faulty main fuse

A defective fuse can be identified by the burned-out fuse wire

A reserve fuse

Install a new main fuse.

Check that the electrical equipment is functioning properly.
Tip
Insert the spare fuse so that it is available if needed.

Mount the protection caps.
–
Mount the starter relay onto the holder and lay the cable.
Finishing work
–
Install the air filter box lid. ( p. 53)

Preparatory work
–
Switch off all power consumers and switch off the engine.

Open rubber bands

on the fork legs.

Tilt the headlight mask forward and detach at catch

Disconnect connector

–
Take off the headlight mask with headlight.

Check that the lighting is functioning properly.

Attach headlight holder

and position the headlight mask.

Position rubber bands

around the fork legs and close them.
