19.13 Why do I feel electric leakage or shock when I use
the headset?
In areas or seasons with low humidity, electric charge is generated when there is friction
between clothing and headsets. The electric charge can't be rapidly transferred but are
accumulated, resulting in static electricity. When you put the headsets into your ears, the
metal mesh is in contact with human skins and hair. Once the human body or headsets are
grounded, the accumulated static charge is rapidly released, and therefore you feel electric
shock. This phenomenon is especially obvious in a dry environment, such as in winters. This
is a normal phenomenon and is not a quality or safety defect of the headsets.
19.14 How do I use the noise reduction headset?
The headset included with your phone uses the active noise reduction technology. This helps
to eliminate background noise and provides superior sound quality. Usually, active noise
reduction headsets are quite bulky. However, the Huawei headset is light and portable.
Huawei phones can be used to charge the headset. Once charged, it has a battery life of 2
hours.
The controller is an important part of the headset. It contains a battery. Please avoid impacts
or contact with water.
19.15 Why is the headset jack loose? Why can't I insert the
connector into the headset jack properly? Why can I only
hear background music and no vocals?
Please ensure that the metal contacts on the connector are fully inserted into the headset jack.
You will hear a positive 'click' when the last of the contacts snaps into place. Once plugged in
properly, please test the audio on your phone again.
19.16 Does my phone support the three-button line control
headset?
Yes. Your phone can use most of three-button line control headsets on the market.
However, your phone doesn't support the line control function of some headsets, for example,
Apple headset.
It is suggested that you use Huawei original headset to gain better audio and line control
operation experience.


