Compression

All drives used in the Library use the Adaptive Lossless Data Compression (ALDC data
compression algorithm developed by IBM).

Capacity

The Library with its 20-cartridge magazine offers the formatted capacities listed in Table 1-5.

NOTE:

Capacities are based on 19 storage slots.
