system o. Conrm the HP-IB cable connections.
Errors during the PV4062/PV4062.F Program
Error occurs while T est Infomation of File is being Stored
As describ ed in Chapter 6, y ou sp ecify a le name in whic h y ou w an t to sa v e the PV results.
F or a new le, y ou en ter test information, whic h will b e the header information for the le.
If an error o ccurs while this information is b eing stored, the program ab orts and cannot b e
con tinued.
P ossible errors and their probable causes are listed as follo ws: where xxxxx is the le name
that y ou sp ecied and yyyyy is a temp orary le name.
If an error o ccurs (program ab orts), list the les that are on the data disk, then delete
temp orary les ( TEMP001 , TEMP002 , and so on).
Can't create xxxxx .
Incorrect mass storage, or a write protected device is sp ecied. Or this error may o ccur
when reading a previously stored le, or if mass storage is full.
Can't output data to yyyyy .
Error when writing data to a temp orary le. Disk rejected.
Can't copy yyyyy to xxxxx .
Error when cop ying a temp orary le to a user sp ecied le.
Can't purge yyyyy .
Error when purging temp orary les.
Can't assign xxxxx ( yyyyy ).
The ASSIGN statement failed.
