Human Interfaces

Several devices can act as the “console”, or primary human interface, for the Boot

ROM. The list of possible console devices is explained in this section.

Output Devices

An RS-232 interface in the remote mode connected to a terminal can be used as an

output device. Bit-mapped video/graphics boards with their internal address set to

560000

may also be used. Bit-mapped video/graphics boards with their DIO-II ad-

dress set in the range 01000000 to 01C00000
