Machines with undercarriage and hydraulic
depth setting: Remove all clips from the hy-
draulic cylinders!
¾
Unfold the machine in the field and adjust; see
chapter Depth setting (working depth, levelling
discs, support wheels).
¾
Reduce the working depth if the stone re-
lease protection is often triggered under hard
ground conditions, even without stones as
obstacles.
¾
Three-point hitching:
Align the machine in
parallel with the upper link.
Unlock the tractor link arms during field work.
¾
Tractor link arm hitching: Align the machine
in parallel with the tractor link arm.
Lock the tractor link arm against swinging
sideways.
Adjust the tractor link arm in position control
to its lowest position during field work.
Headland
¾
Slowly lift out the machine already during the
last 10 - 15 m before turning.
Soil may collect on the coulters when the ma-
chine is lifted out while stopped and a wavy
headland may be created.
Machines with optional hydraulic depth
setting:
The cylinders may become de-adjusted during
work in the field.
¾
Perform levelling of the cylinders several
times a day
• before starting work
• every 10 operating hours.
