Operation
Whenever working on the machine pay
attention to the associated safety notes
in the chapter "Safety and prevention
of accidents" as well as the accident
prevention instructions!
Connecting
DANGER
There is a risk that persons may become
crushed and severely injured between machine
and tractor!
Instruct persons to leave the area between trac-
tor and machine.
DANGER
Serious accidents caused by the machine roll-
ing away!
When hitching up machines with pneumatic
brake you must always connect the yellow con-
nection (brake line) first.
1. Lock the tractor link arms against swinging
sideways.
2. Back the tractor carefully up to the machine.
Depending on the design, hitch up the ma-
chine to the three-point hitch or the tractor
link arm.
3. Connect the brake lines.
4. Connect the hydraulic lines.
5. Connect the lighting system and check the
function.
6. Fold up the support and secure it with pin.
Secure pin with the cotter pin:

Transport position
WARNING
Danger of traffic accidents from exceeding the
permissible transport width.

Check the transport width before travel and
adjust if necessary.
The starting position is the unfolded machine
after connecting or field work .
Machines with tractor link arm connec-
tion and hydraulic depth setting
1. Fill the rods at the front of the hydraulic cyl-
inders with aluminium clips:
2. Lift the machine completely.
3. Extent the hydraulic cylinders for the depth
setting all the way (corresponds to minimum
working depth).
4. Fold the machine.
5. Retract the hydraulic cylinders for the depth
setting to maintain the permissible transport
width (3 m).
6. Switch all control units to the locked position
and secure against unintentional actuation.
NOTE
Terrano 6 FX: Do not place any clips on the hy-
draulic cylinders.
