Accessing the enclosure of the workstation
This section contains procedures for removing the workstation from a Z or EZ console, Classic console,
and a cabinet. The procedures apply to the workstation.

5.1.1
Shutdown workstation
The following workstation shutdown procedure is applicable to workstations mounted in a Z or EZ
Console or cabinet.
1. Perform a double SHUTDOWN of the native window and a SHUTDOWN of the Windows operating
system. Refer to the Global User Station User's Guide for instructions.
2. When the RESTART message appears on the monitor, place the Power Entry breaker in the OFF
position (applicable to consoles only).
3. Turn off power to the computer if it has a separate power switch, and disconnect the AC power
cord.
4. Turn off power to the monitor(s) and the printer, if applicable.
