Install workstation in Classic console using the fixed mount
option
1. Remove both the front and rear console doors to access the workstation mounting location.
2. Determine an appropriate location for the workstation by referring to the requirements listed in
section
Classic console mounting requirements
3. If the retaining brackets are attached, loosen the two captivated fasteners on each retaining bracket
and remove them. The following image illustrates a slide mount configuration, but the brackets are
similar for the fixed mount configuration.
4. Verify that the console mounting rails are clear of any installed cables.
5. Place the workstation on the mounting tray such that the front edge of the workstation bezel is flush
with the front surface of the mounting tray and centered side-to-side.
6. Slide the workstation all the way in until the back of the chassis touch the flanges on the side
mounting brackets. Ensure that the workstation front bezel protrudes approximately 38 mm[1.5”]
beyond the front surface of the side mounting brackets.
