ELECTRIC STARTING SYSTEM

STARTER MOTOR

DISMANTLING

d

Disconnect the breather tube from the casing of the engine.

Before services in the starter motor, turn the power
switch. Otherwise, the engine can operate suddenly,
causing serious injuries.

BREATHER TUBE

Remove the nut of the terminal and the cable from starter
motor.
Remove the two fixing bolts the starter motor and the
ground wire.
Remove the starter motor.

NUT TERMINAL/CABLE

NUT TERMINAL/CABLE

Push the starter motor backwards.

STARTER MOTOR

Remove the protective rubber of the
terminal.
Remove the drainage tube of the
carburetor.

PROTECTIVE RUBBER

DRAINAGE TUBE
