Preventive Maintenance

The slide-out system has been designed to require very little maintenance. To ensure the long life of the

slide-out system, read and follow these procedures.

• When the room is out visually inspect the inner slide rail assemblies. Check for excess build-up of dirt or

other foreign material; remove any debris that may be present.

• If the system squeaks or makes any noise it is permissible to apply a coat of light weight oil to the drive

shaft and roller areas. Remove any excess oil to prevent dirt and debris build-up. Do not use grease.

WARNING:

Do not work on the slide-out system unless the battery is disconnected.

CAUTION:

Dirt and grit trapped under the slide could result in damage to the floor. Continuous

operation of the slide-out could cause a drain on the house battery and damage to the the

slide motor from overheating.

NOTE:

It is not recommended to extend the slide room in snow, sleet, ice or freezing rain. There

may be extensive damage resulting from the slide room freezing up.

SlidE lock

If the Slide Lock is Used for Other Functions Follow these Guidelines:

• Ensure the slide lock is straight as possible.

• Adjust the dimension nearest to the opening size.

DO NOT GO LARGER

.

• The feet can be adjusted until they are ¼” shorter than the opening.

• The foot on the brass bolt has 4 ½” of adjustment. The foot on the silver bolt

has 1 ½”.

• Ensure slide lock is in place tightly before use. Use caution when tightening if used on areas not

reinforced.

TIP:

The silver bolt should face the outside wall, and a clockwise rotation will increase tension.

awninGS

Main (Not On All Units)

To Unlock the Patio Awning:

1. Loosen black locking knobs.

2. Unlock the storage lock by using one hand to squeeze inner and

outer arm to remove tension from storage lock. Push up on tab

and swing lock away.

3. Move the brake control to the unlock position.
