Control Panel Switches
Most functions and features of the water blasting
system are activated by labeled rocker switches,
the joystick or dials on the console switch panel in
the cab. A green LED light in each switch illuminates
when the circuit activated by the switch is on.
NOTICE:
THE TRUCK IGNITION SWITCH MUST BE ON TO ACTIVATE THE
CONTROL PANEL CIRCUITS. THE COOLING FANS FOR THE
HYDRAULIC FLUID COOLER ARE ALSO ACTIVATED BY THE
IGNITION SWITCH.
The following is a description of the cab control
panel switch functions:
DUMP VALVE
Controls the UHP dump valve. When the switch is
ON, the dump valve closes and high water pressure
from the UHP pump is directed to the spray bar on
the blasting head. A green LED light in the switch
indicates that the dump valve is on.
When the switch is OFF, the dump valve opens and
the high pressure water is diverted to the clean water
tank. Always make sure the truck is moving and the
spray bar is rotating before activating the dump valve.
FWD/REV
A momentary rocker switch that selects the truck
direction of travel by shifting the hydrostatic drive
system while in WORK mode.
STROBE LIGHTS
Activates the safety strobe lights during operations.
A green LED light in the switch indicates that the
lights are on.
WORK LIGHTS
Activates the lights that illuminate the blasting area
and specific water blasting system components. A
green LED light in the switch indicates that the lights
are on.
AUX
Reserved for additional water blasting accessories.
VAC RESET
A momentary switch that resets the vacuum system
after a overheat fault is indicated. If the red VAC
FAULT LED light is lit, the blower has experienced an
overheat condition and has been shutdown. Allow the
blower to cool down. Then press the switch to reset
the sensor and reengage the blower.
CAUTION
TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE BLOWER, DO NOT RESET THE
BLOWER UNTIL THE CAUSE OF THE OVERHEAT CONDITION
IS RESOLVED. ALWAYS BE SURE THE ENGINE IS AT LOW
IDLE BEFORE THE BLOWER IS STARTED.
