Hi-Fi SOUND
This VCR records sound using the following two formats.
Hi-Fi sound
FM sound recorded using the rotary audio
heads.
Normal (mono) sound
Records in monaural using the same format
as with a non-Hi-Fi VCR. Therefore,
conventional VCRs can be used for playback.
Remarkable Specifications of Hi-Fi Sound
Recording Stereo Broadcasts
Stereo programmes are recorded in Hi-Fi on both
the L and R channels and also recorded on the
mono track as monaural.
Recording Bilingual Broadcasts
Both main speech and sub speech sounds are
recorded on the Hi-Fi audio tracks separately.
