Configuring options and parameters of SmartWire-DT devices
You can configure certain options and parameters of individual SmartWire-
DT devices. For example, you can determine for each device individually
whether its presence in the SmartWire-DT network is mandatory or whether
it may be substituted by a universal module. For a couple of I/O modules,
you can also configure typical parameters like sensor types or refresh
rates.

To configure a SmartWire-DT device in IndraWorks
®
proceed as follows:

Project Explorer
, double-click the SmartWire-DT device you
want to configure (in this example the
EU5C_SWD_2A2A
object).

The Sercos module editor opens in the working area.
