4.6 Duplex Receptacle

Chapter 4: Removal, Replacement, and Adjustment Procedures

6. Remove the duplex receptacle faceplate (B).

7. Using the phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws (C) that secure

the duplex receptacle (D) to the device mount weldment (E).

8. Pull the duplex receptacle (D) out of the opening in the device mount

weldment (E).

9. Using the screwdriver, loosen the terminal screws (G) holding the color-

coded wires (F).

10. Note the color, orientation, and location of the color-coded wires (F).

11. Pull the wires out of the connection hole, and remove the color-coded wires

(F) from the terminals.

Replacement

1. Connect the color-coded wires (F) to their original terminals.
