2. Using the torque wrench and 9/16" socket, tighten the self locking nut (A)
until the force to move the IV arm is 7-17 lb (0.80-1.92 N
·
m).
IV Pole Clutch Assembly
1. Using the adjustable wrench, loosen the jam nut (C) on the IV pole clutch
assembly (D).
2. Using the ratchet and 6 mm allen wrench bit, loosen the socket set screw
(E) on the IV pole clutch assembly (D).
3. Using the torque wrench and 6 mm allen wrench bit, tighten the socket set
screw (E) until the force to move the IV pole is 15-35 lb (1.7-3.95 N
·
m).
Using the adjustable wrench, tighten the jam nut (C) to lock the socket set
screw (E) in place.
