18.3 Cleaning and replacing the air filter
The air filter must be checked regularly as the bur-
den on it depends on the conditions in which it is
used. If you use a foam filter, the filter can be
cleaned several times. All the other filter mats
should be replaced when necessary.
WARNING
Risk of injury from inhaling environmental tox-
ins
Depending on the location, the components of the
device may become contaminated with mould or
other environmental toxins.
a) Wear respiratory protection when performing
cleaning.
CAUTION
Risk of injury on the cooling fins.
The cooling fins have sharp edges.
a) Wear protective gloves.

The device is switched off and the mains plug
pulled out.

The device is now defrosted.

a) Unscrew the fixing screws of the filter holder.
b) Remove the filter holder at the recessed grip.
c) Take out the contaminated filter.
If there is a foam filter, clean it thoroughly with a
mild detergent and water. Let the filter dry.
d) Insert the new or cleaned filter in the filter hold-
er.
e) Mount the the filter holder, including the filter, in
the same way as it was installed at the factory.

You have now maintained the filter.
18.4 Wear and spare parts
Spare parts must meet the technical requirements
specified by HEYLO. HEYLO original spare parts
have to fulfill stringent requirements.
HEYLO assumes no warranty for any damage
caused by the use of spare parts from other manu-
facturers.

spare parts, please contact your dealer or HEYLO
directly with the following information:
– Device type,
– Serial number,
– Year of construction,
– Part designation,
– Quantity,
– Form of shipping.
