used for collecting the condensate must be emp-
tied regularly.
– Never drink any condensate that may accumu-
late, there is a danger of infection.
– The device must not be operated in puddles or in
stagnant water. If the device or the connection
cable has become wet, dry the device or cable
thoroughly before use.
– Make sure that the device does not suck in any
oil, grease or other contaminant.
– Only use the device with a clean filter.
– The mains voltage must correspond to the de-
tails on the rating plate.
– Extension cables must be selected according to
the performance data on the rating plate, in or-
der to prevent overload.
– The socket used must be earthed or protected
with a residual-current circuit-breaker in indoor
installation.
People under the influence of alcohol, drugs or med-
ication must not operate or maintain the device.
13.2 Personal protective equipment
Personal protective equipment serves to protect staff
against any hazards that could affect their safety or
health at work.
The following personal protective equipment must
be worn during transport and installation:
– Protective gloves to prevent the hands becoming
crushed or trapped
– Safety shoes to protect against impacts or falling
over
During cleaning and maintenance, the following
must be worn:
– Respiratory protection to prevent the inhalation
of aerial droplets (contaminated condensate or
cleaning fluid)
13.3 Residual hazards
The following residual hazards cannot be eliminated
completely.
– The danger that persons who are not authorized
and qualified may operate the device.
Consequently, the company operating the device
must ensure that only authorized and qualified per-
sons have access to the device and its control de-
vice.
14 Product description
14.1 Identification of the machine
The device can be clearly identified by means of the
rating plate on the rear of the device.
