Device description
Work positions – EASY LOCK
The following figure shows the different working positions of the EASY LOCK flask
clamping system:
• "closed–locked" position: In this position, the evaporation flask is clamped in the
EASY LOCK, the evaporator can be operated normally.
• "unlocked" position: The internal sliding segments of the EASY LOCK are open
enough that the evaporation flask inserted can be rotated and positioned for a
change.
• "open" position: The evaporation flask can be inserted or removed. Furthermore,
the sliding segments and the outer ring can be removed.
Handling – EASY LOCK
Before opening the EASY LOCK, the rotation axis of the device must be locked using the
latching rotary knob!
To lock the rotational axis, follow these steps:
➜ Pull out the latching rotary knob and turn it up to the LOCK
position to LOCK the rotation axis.
➜ Depending on the rotation position, it may not be possible
to engage the locking knob directly in the locking position!
In this case, turn the outer ring of the EASY LOCK and the
latching rotary knob at the same time until it can be turned
to the locking position and locks into place.
➜ Turn the latching rotary knob into the UNLOCK position to
UNLOCK the rotation axis.
