Removing the crash bar

The crash bar (Fig. 81/1) is secured with three
screws on A.S. and three screws on O.S. (Fig. 81/2).

Loosen and remove the three screws under-
neath the crash bar on D.S.

Loosen and remove the three screws under-
neath the crash bar on O.S.

Lift the crash bar from the feeder and store it at
a protected place.

Secure the tear-off detector / multiple-sheet de-
tector (Fig. 82/2) at the upper position. Use a
