Execute
ping
command in the CLI. Execute the command
ping 127.0.0.1
and
check whether the TCP/IP protocol is installed on PC. The TCP/IP protocol must
be installed on PC to keep the normal network connection.
z
If the static IP address is configured on PC, make sure that this IP address is in the
same network segment with the Ethernet port IP address of VG 10-10/10-11
(which defaults to 192.168.1.1).
2) If the network connection is normal and you still cannot access the login page of
VG 10-10/10-11, check the following items in the web page:
z
The proxy server or dial-up connection is configured. If configured, cancel the
configuration.
z
Click [File] menu, if the [Work Offline] is selected, cancel the setting.
z
Click [Tools -> Internet Options] menu and click “Security” tab. Then click <Default
Level> to ensure that the security level is set to medium or below, and click <OK>.

If the Ethernet port IP address has been modified, make sure that the IP address
you entered in the web page is the current IP address of the Ethernet port.
IV. The Web page cannot be accessed by using management IP address of the
voice gateway.
Check that:
1)
If the PC is directly connected with the voice gateway, check that whether the PC
is connected to the LAN port on the voice gateway, whether the IP address of the
PC is in the same network segment with the management IP address of the voice
gateway.
2) If the PC and voice gateway belong to different LANs, access the Web
configuration page by IP routing, and check whether the IP address of another
device on the network is the same with the management IP address of the voice
gateway.
V. The dialing tone cannot be heard after I pick up the phone, and the
corresponding PHONE LED does not light.
Check that:
z
The phone set is correctly connected to the corresponding port on the VG
10-10/10-11.
z
Reconnect the cable between the phone set and VG 10-10/10-11 to ensure full
contact.
z
The Ethernet port on VG 10-10/10-11 is connected properly.
