When upgrading the software, specify the file path and file name correctly on the
TFTP server side.

VG voice gateway does not provide TFTP server software, so you need to buy the
software.
II. Restoring the system software when the voice gateway cannot be started
If the voice gateway cannot be started due to errors of the loaded software, the Web
page cannot be accessed. You can upload the software using the following steps.

Directly connect the voice gateway to PC with the IP address 192.168.0.1 and
subnet mask 255.255.255.0 using Ethernet.

Use TFTP server software on PC and correctly specify the path and file name of
the VG system software. Set the file name to VG101X.BIN.

Restart the voice gateway. Then, the system downloads the system software from
the TFTP server automatically and restores the system to normal state.
4.4.2 Configuring Management IP Address
For user’s convenience, VG 10-10/10-11 provides management IP address
configuration. You can access the Web configuration page not only by using the IP
address of the Ethernet port on the voice gateway (refer to 4.2.1 for configuration), but
also by using the management IP address via LAN port. Meanwhile, after the DHCP
client function is enabled on the voice gateway, you can use the management IP
address to log into the voice gateway and to view the IP address obtained dynamically
by the voice gateway.
Using management IP address, you can only log into the voice gateway and configure
the system parameters through LAN port; while using Ethernet port IP address, you can
log into the voice gateway and perform the above configurations through LAN port and
WAN port. Moreover, the Ethernet port IP address can serve as the source address and
destination address of voice signaling and voice stream.
You can select “Others -> Manager IP” to enter the management IP address
configuration page and to modify the management IP address. The information of the
initial management IP address is listed in the following table.
