Dial
Terminator
The last character that you
can dial, which can be “#”,
“*” or “No Terminator”.
When the gateway detects
a terminator, it finishes
collecting digits and makes
the voice call with the
number you dialed before
the terminator. The voice
gateway discards the digits
dialed after the terminator.
If you do not
use the GK
client mode,
you cannot
dial the “*” as
the dial
terminator, or
else you are
not able to dial
the IP
address.
If “No
Terminator” is
configured,
you have to
wait until the
timeout of the
“Dial Interval”,
and then
make the call
with the dialed
number.
# Optional
Input Gain
Level
The input gain of voice
subscriber line. When
attenuation of voice signal
on a line is large, or the
volume at the called party
(the VG 10-10/10-11 is the
calling party) during
conversation is low, this
command can be used to
properly increase voice
input gain.
Adjust the
volume
moderately.
Do not adjust
the gain too
high or too
low, or else
the
conversation
may be
affected.
3 Optional
Output Gain
Level
The output gain of voice
subscriber line. When
attenuation of voice signal
on a line is large, or the
volume at the calling party
(the VG 10-10/10-11 is the
calling party) during
conversation is low, this
command can be used to
properly increase voice
output gain.
Adjust the
volume
moderately.
Do not adjust
the gain too
high or too
low, or else
the
conversation
may be
affected.
3 Optional
PSTN
Switch
Number
This parameter is used to
configure the outgoing
switch number when calling
PSTN side. This parameter
is valid only for VG 10-11
voice gateway.
You can
configure 3
valid
characters at
most.
