Configure the

mode
Select “Provision -> Call Mode” in the
navigation bar. Tick the “Use GateKeeper
Client Mode” in the configuration items to
enable the GK client. Then, configure the
following parameters of the GK client:
Phone Number: 1001
H.323 Gateway ID: gw1001
Master GK IP address: 192.168.80.50
Master GK ID: gkserver

IP address of
VG B
Select “Provision -> Interface ” in the
navigation bar. Then configure the “IP
address” to be 192.168.20.1, the “IP Mask”
to be 255.255.255.0 and the “Default
Gateway IP” to be 192.168.20.100.

Select “Provision -> Call Mode” in the
navigation bar. Tick the “Use GateKeeper
Client Mode” in the configuration items to
enable the GK client function. Then,
configure the following parameters of the GK
client:
Phone Number: 2001
H.323 Gateway ID: gw2001
Master GK IP address: 192.168.80.50
Master GK ID: gkserver

Configure the PC to adopt static IP address mode.

The configuration of GK is omitted here; you can configure the GK according to the
actual network.

This application only applies for VG 10-11.
5.1.2 PSTN Application
I. Network requirements
The voice network built up by VG 10-11 and GK uses the LINE port to connect the voice
gateway to the PSTN network. After dialing the PSTN switch number, the gateway
switches to PSTN network. At this time, you can dial the phone at the PSTN side.
(Refer to 4.3.1 VG Configuration for the configuration information of the PSTN switch
