7.4.1 Updating an Application Using TFTP Through the BootWare Menu

Set up a TFTP updating environment

The router serves as the TFTP client, and the PC serves as the TFTP server.

Connect the management Ethernet interface MANAGEMENT on the router to the

PC using a crossover Ethernet cable. Ensure the connectivity between the router

and the PC. In the example, the IP address of the management Ethernet interface

is 192.168.80.10, and that of the PC is 192.168.80.200.

Start TFTP Server on the PC and set the path where the application file is stored.
