The
FIBREVision
series
The KVM extenders of the
FIBREVision
series consist of a computer module and a
user module.
The computer to be operated as well as an optional console are connected to the
computer module (
FIBREVision-CPU
). The remote console is connected to the user
module (
FIBREVision-CON
).
Both the computer module and the user module are connected through two optical fibres.
The keyboard, mouse and digital video signals of the connected computer are transmitted
through these cables and enable users to operate the computer remotely.
The computer can be operated either at the remote console of the user module or at
the local console of the computer module.

Optionally, the
FIBRE-Power
expansion (see page 51) is available for
FIBREVision-AR

-ARU
variants. The expansion enables you to operate both the
ATX-Power
button
and the
Reset
button remotely.
