7). In the reverse or tensioned position, to is not
possible to fit the cover on. .
After the assembly, the chain bar holding nuts are to
be tightened by hand only, so that the chain may be
more tensioned.
6. Now, the chain is to be tightened by the clamping
screw (Fig. 9) (clockwise) so that it is tightly guide
in the chain bar rail and it may still be moved freely
forward and backward (Fig. 10)
7. Now, the clamping nuts are to be tightened closely
(Fig. 2)
Pouring Fuel and Chain Lubrication Oil
in Saw
1. Pour the chain lubrication oil and the two-stroke
engine fuel
(Fig. 11/1 Mix/2 Oil14) in the re-
spective holes.
. Beware of splashes (risk of
ignition). The fuel-mixing ratio to be found in
Chapter e
2. Remove 3 meters at least from the place of
filling. Never start the machine in closed or
poorly ventilated areas.
Starting saw

•
Press the safety switch at the back of the handle
and gas lever at the bottom and keep them
pressed.
Cold starting (see paragraph 12):
Now pull the choke button entirely out and re-
lease the gas lever and safety switch.
Hot starting (see paragraph 12):
(if the saw has shortly been running before) The
choke button is not needed at hot starting.

•
Press the on/off button to the operating position.
•
Now put the power saw to the ground and
insert your foot to the hole for hands. Use
one hand to hold the chain with the holding
strap
.
•
Use the other hand to pull the starting cable
until the saw starts slowly running
. As soon
as you press the gas lever, the choke will auto-
matically get back to the original position. The
saw can now be operated.
•
Pay attention to the chain motion.
•
Turn up the gas.
If the saw fails to start running, try to start it again
without pulling the choke out (too many starting
attempts with the choke pulled out leads to carbu-
rettor flooding).
CAUTION: The chain when moving may cause
serious injuries!
The lever is unblocked if pressed repeatedly and
the unit is ready for operation again.
.
Watch out for the idle adjustment by means of a
locking screw. When the engine is idling, the chain
should not move. Always check this adjustment and
re-adjust when necessary (Consult a professional if
necessary)
Chain Running-in

1.
Once the chain and the bar are installed according
to the description, the chain running in may be
commenced. The chain brake lever should be
pushed in the direction of the handgrip and the
chain brake will thus get released.
2.
Now, fill in/replenish the saw chain oil in the oil tank
and close the tank - Use usual oil for chain lubrica-
tion – you may order it from us as well
3.
The chainsaw may be switched on now following
steps in Chapter 5.
4.
Make sure that oil lubrication is all right. Direct the
chainsaw running at a carton or similar material,
such as a paper, a tree stem (distance ca 20-25
cm). In a while, an oil layer will show
Chain Oil Lubrication Set-up
Fig. 15/16
1. NEVER adjust the oil lubrication while the engine is
running!
2. On the bottom side of the saw, there is a chain lub
adjusting screw (oil pump).
3. Using a flat-tip screwdriver, the lubrication may be
adjusted by careful turning.
CAUTION:
Lubrication is factory-adjusted.
Turn the adjusting screw very carefully! Max. ¼
turn!!!
Oil pump will be destroyed by overturning the
adjusting screw, hence the warranty becomes
void.
1.
Now check the chain tension and adjust according
to the description if necessary. The same applies to
the oil lubrication.
2.
The chainsaw is now ready for operation.
CAUTION! Never use the chain without
chain lub oil!!!
The chainsaw is factory adjusted for the best per-
formance. The engine adjustment should be done by
a specialised dealer only.
Way of Power Chainsaw Operation
The saw chain will stop when the braking chain lever.
If you want to remove the block again, pull the chain-
braking lever in the direction to the unit until a click is
heard. If you want to stop the unit, the switch has to
be put at Stop position.
However, this is not a guarantee excluding the
occurrence of accidents completely.
Power Chainsaw Use
Mind the Risk of Backlash!
The saw backlash can result in may result in fatal
laceration!
